Members of the Jobs and Careers Coalition support H.R. 6655, A Stronger Workforce for America Act
ANFP continues to support the Jobs and Careers Coalition - a Washington-based business group focused on job training and workforce development. Members include employers and employer associations from a broad range of industries experiencing skills mismatches and worker shortages – construction, manufacturing, IT, retail and hospitality, among others.
Workforce Development Activities. Title I of the bill would revise and reauthorize title I of Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), including programs that make grants for employment and training services for adults, dislocated workers, veterans, youth, and people with barriers to employment. The bill would authorize the appropriation of $5.6 billion annually from 2025 through 2030 for those programs.
