Strengthening Community Colleges Training Grants

ANFP’s Political Action Committee (ANFP-PAC) and Government Affairs Committee (GAC) continue to work on various legislative initiatives. Through their work on Capitol Hill, an opportunity for grant dollars to support community colleges nationwide is now available. This information has been shared with community colleges that participate as ANFP Approved Programs.

The Strengthening Community Colleges (or SCC) is accepting applications to support the Nutrition & Foodservice Professional Training Program through the U.S. DEPARTMENT OF LABOR Employment and Training Administration. The Department of Labor announced the availability of $40 million in funding through the Strengthening Community Colleges Training Grants program to help workers learn in-demand job skills in healthcare, logistics, cybersecurity and other industries.
