St. Charles, IL – The Association of Nutrition & Foodservice Professionals (ANFP) hosted its Annual Conference & Expo (ACE) from June 28-30 at the Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld® in Orlando, FL. The meeting marked ANFP’s first live event since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. More than 300 attendees participated in three days of education, networking, and exhibits.

The Keynote Opening Session kicked off the conference. Dr. Jo Lichten’s presentation focused on stress management, staying mindfully in the present, and strategies for re-energizing your day.

Education sessions throughout the conference covered a variety of topics, including regulations, ethics, IDDSI, mental health, emergency preparedness, and more. Highlights included a panel discussion by ANFP’s newly founded Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Taskforce.

The Annual Business Meeting on June 28 saw the installation of the 2021-22 leadership, including ANFP Board Chair Omar Humes, CDM, CFPP.

The Expo, this year broken up into two 2-hour sessions to promote social distancing, included more than 30 exhibitors displaying a variety of foodservice products, innovations, and trends.

In addition to education and the expo, there were also a number of networking events including the Opening Reception, First Time Attendees Meet & Greet, Networking Lunch, and the ANFP Honors Gala.
