St. Charles, IL – Following an extensive national search, the Association of Nutrition & Foodservice Professionals (ANFP) today announced Brad Rysz, MBA, CAE, PCM, as the organization’s new President & CEO effective March 1, 2026. Rysz will transition from his previous role as Vice President, Marketing & Member Engagement at ANFP. He has spent the last 11 years at ANFP.

About Brad Rysz

Rysz has more than 16 years of experience in the association industry. He began his career at the American Academy of Pediatrics and transitioned to ANFP in 2014. Known for his strategic vision and results-driven approach, Rysz has successfully led growth initiatives/programs, strengthened operational performance, and built strong, member-focused teams throughout his career. His track record of driving innovation, expanding market presence, and building brand awareness positions ANFP for its next phase of growth.

Rysz holds a Masters of Business Administration (Marketing concentration) degree from Dominican University and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is also a Certified Association Executive (CAE) with the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE). He has served on the Board of Directors with the Chicago-based Association Forum. In 2019, he was recognized as one of Association Forum’s “40 Under 40” award recipients. He also holds a Professional Certified Marketer (PCM) certification from the American Marketing Association (AMA) and is a Certified Digital Marketing Professional through the Digital Marketing Institute (DMI).

“It is truly a privilege to step into this role and build on the strong foundation this organization has established,” said Rysz. “I’m excited to work alongside the Board of Directors, staff, and volunteers to drive innovation, deliver value to our members, raise awareness of ANFP and the CDM, CFPP credential, and help lead the organization into its next chapter of growth.”

CEO Selection Process

Rysz was selected by a CEO search committee composed of organizational stakeholders. Current ANFP Chair, Ken Owens, CDM, CFPP, chaired the committee.

ANFP is a national not-for-profit association established in 1960 that represents nearly 12,000 professional members dedicated to the mission of providing optimum nutritional care through nutrition and foodservice management. ANFP members work in hospitals, long-term care facilities, correctional facilities and other non-commercial food settings.
