ANFP Announces 2026-2027 Officers and Directors

St. Charles, IL – The Association of Nutrition & Foodservice Professionals (ANFP) is pleased to announce its 2026-2027 leadership. These volunteers took office on June 1. They represent ANFP, the Certifying Board for Dietary Managers (CBDM), and/or the Nutrition & Foodservice Education Foundation (NFEF). 

Kenneth D. Owens, CDM, CFPP will continue to serve as ANFP’s Chair of the Board. Owens previously served as Chair-Elect. Owens is the Director of Food Service at Kingwood Pines Hospital in Humble, TX. Owens is serving with prior experience as a Director at Large and Treasurer.

Marjorie Smith, CDM, CFPP will continue to serve as Chair-Elect. Smith previously served as Treasurer, Director at Large, and Treasurer-Elect. Smith is the Director of Food and Nutrition Services at Good Samaritan St. James in Lewisville, MN.

Robert Milligan, CDM, CFPP will continue to serve as Treasurer, after previously serving as Treasurer-Elect and Director at Large. Milligan is the Dining Services Navigator at TLC Management in Crown Point, IN.

Renee M. Spence, CDM, CFPP will continue to serve as Treasurer-Elect. Spence previously served as a Director at Large. Spence is the Certified Dietary Manager, Nutritionist at L.M.C. Extended Care in Lexington, SC.

Felicia A. Smith, MHA, CDM, CFPP will continue to serve as Immediate Past Chair. Smith previously served as Chair, Chair-Elect, Treasurer, and Treasurer-Elect. She is the Director of Hospitality Services at Memorial Hospital of Converse County in Douglas, WY and has over 25 years of foodservice experience.

Elaine Farley-Zoucha, RD; Shaylei Lynn Johnson, CDM, CFPP; Marianne Schussler-Yenor; and James Stewart, CDM, CFPP will begin their terms as Directors at Large. Amarilys Saluk, CDM, CFPP will serve a second-term as a Director at Large.

Continuing in their role as Directors at Large are Wendy Harbach Hasden; Hunter Hying, CDM, CFPP; Shaylei Lynn Johnson, CDM, CFPP; Joey Rost, CDM, CFPP; Sarah Jane Winchell, CDM, CFPP, and Jeffrey Wuollet, CDM, CFPP.

Brad Rysz, MBA, CAE, PCM stepped into the role of President & CEO of ANFP on March 1, 2026. 

CBDM Announces New Board Members

The Certifying Board for Dietary Managers (CBDM) – the credentialing agency for ANFP – formally announces that Lisa Berrett, CDM, CFPP and Zlatko Jancic, CDM, CFPP have joined the CBDM Board. 

Jessica Haycraft, MS, RDN, LD, CDM, CFPP will serve as Chair of the Certifying Board.

Also continuing their service to the Certifying Board are Dr. Milton McGowian, DBA, FMP, CDM, CFPP; Amanda Margaret Page, CDM, CFPP; Randall J. Sparrow, CDM, CFPP, and Elizabeth Steinhauser.

NFEF Announces Chair and Trustees

Hunter Hying, CDM, CFPP will serve as the new Chair for the Nutrition & Foodservice Education Foundation (NFEF) Board of Trustees. 

Melissa Kern, CDM, CFPP will serve as Chair-Elect.

Robert Milligan, CDM, CFPP will serve on the NFEF Board as Treasurer. 

The Immediate Past Chair is Dr. Milton McGowian, DBA, FMP, CDM, CFPP. 

NFEF formally announces Rosemary Aho, CDM, CFPP; Shayana Islam, CDM, CFPP, and Jean Ellen Siegel, CDM, CFPP have joined the NFEF Board as members.

Continuing their service to the Board of Trustees are Anne Galli, CDM, CFPP; Antanesha Patterson, CDM, CFPP; LaToya Preston, CDM, CFPP, and Lisa Waring.
