Holidays often bring out generosity in ourselves and others. It comes in many forms: volunteering, donations, gift giving, and recognizing those among us (family, friends, staff, etc.) that we appreciate. One of the ways we can recognize our colleagues or coworkers, not just at this time of year, but any time of year, is by nominating them for awards and other CDM recognition programs. ANFP offers a variety of ways to recognize others for their achievements and hard work.
CDM of the Month
Take a look around you at your next chapter meeting and think about the CDMs in attendance. There is sure to be more than one member that is bringing innovation and progress to their facility or within their position (and maybe it’s you!). The CDM of the Month is featured on ANFP social media, in eNews, on www.ANFPonline.org and in the Edge Magazine CDM Spotlight feature and is automatically eligible for the CDM Spotlight award. Take time to recognize your colleagues, fellow members, non-members, and industry partners by nominating them for an ACE award. Some of the awards include the CDM Spotlight for outstanding CDMs, the Legacy Award for those that have dedicated their lives to the credential and service to ANFP, and the Horizon award for those rising stars in the industry. As we continue working on our chapter programs and projects throughout the year, keep in mind the chapter awards: communications, government affairs, membership, and the coveted Diamond award. Be sure those members that oversee these areas within your chapter are aware of the awards and receive the application, which can be found in the chapter portal under the chapter management tab.
