Begin your journey from manager to leader by participating in the ANFP Leadership Institute taught by an expert leadership instructor, Kristi Salisbury, CDM, CFPP, RD, and President and Owner of dk Foodservice Solutions LLC, addressing the unique dynamics of a foodservice environment. This course and workshop have been designed for any level of food service manager who is looking to challenge their skills and build a network of peers.
This course is offered in a hybrid format which consists of seven hours of online work and three hours of virtual learning and discussion. The seven hours of online work consist of reading and discussions. You will have access from the date of purchase. Completion of the online portion is required by November 8, 2023. You must successfully complete this work prior to the virtual event.

Pillar 3: Leading Change
Involves the ability to bring about strategic change, both within and outside the organization, to meet personal organizational goals. Inherent in this theme is the ability to establish (or participate in establishing) an organizational or personal vision and to implement it in a continuously changing environment.

About the Speaker
Kristi Salisbury, CDM, CFPP, RD
Kristi has 40 years of healthcare nutrition management experience. Her skills are around strategy, maximizing potential in others and developing leaders. She was a Culinary Director for 30 years working in Hospitals and Nursing Homes. In 2009, she and her business partner started dk Foodservice Solutions, LLC. Her partner retired in 2018 and she continues the company on her own.
Two years ago, she was asked to take on a facility as the full time Nutrition & Culinary Director for Presbyterian Homes – Johanna Shores Senior Living and accepted. She is responsible for a 325-bed full continuum Senior Living campus, with a culinary staff of 105 individuals. This is the original and the largest campus for PHS. She is a Certified Dietary Manager, Certified Food Protection Professional and Registered Dietitian.
She is also a public member and Treasurer for the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners. This represents 30+ thousand lactation consultants from around the world. She has served on this board for three years.
She participates in the state ANFP chapter and sits on several committees at the national level. She previously served as the Chair for the National ANFP Board and the Certifying Board for Dietary Managers.
She is a wife and a mother of three daughters, one who is a recruiter for an IT staffing firm and twin daughters who are juniors in college. In her spare time, she likes to garden, golf, and sing in her church choir.
