Become a Pre-Professional Member
As the national organization representing and serving your profession, ANFP is here to serve you in your professional advancement by providing you with the tools and resources to excel and ensure your success in the profession.
As a student enrolled in a comprehensive foodservice management training program, enhance your experience and become a pre-professional member of ANFP.
A discounted pre-professional membership costs only $64 per year, and includes many of the same member benefits that our professional members enjoy. You also receive these significant savings once you pass the CDM Credentialing Exam:
- You are automatically upgraded to a Professional Member ($109 savings)
- Your status as a certified CDM, CFPP is automatically activated by ANFP ($56 savings)
Those individuals who are not pre-professional members prior to passing the CDM Certification Exam will pay $165 to activate their credential and become a member of ANFP.

Discover the CDM, CFPP Credential
The CDM, CFPP credential is nationally-recognized and required by many employers. As a result, becoming credentialed will make you more marketable and competitive within the industry.
With the recently-finalized CMS Long-Term Care Regulations now implemented, becoming a CDM, CFPP has never been more important. In fact, the CDM, CFPP credential was listed first amongst requirements for the newly designated Director of Food and Nutrition Services position.
