Questions & Answers

Q: Will I receive confirmation of my registration for an ANFP record?

A: Yes, you will receive an e-mail message with your user ID and password. Please keep this information in a safe place. You will need the user ID and password each time you login.

Q: Does my CE report show the detail or just total hours?

A: It shows both. The report also shows you when your three-year certification period starts and ends. Additionally, you can see all of the CE activity you reported and the required documentation that you have uploaded for each reported CE activity.

Q: How quickly do reported activities appear in My Certification?

A: Your CE report is updated and current as soon as you enter the CE activity and upload required documentation for each of the CE activities. Beginning June 1, 2019, all CE activities must be reported and supporting documentation uploaded via the My Certification page. Physical, e-mailed, or faxed documentation sent to CBDM will not be accepted or returned. CDMs must upload electronically all required documentation via My Certification. If you do not have your own computer, consider other options such as mobile devices, tablets, or utilizing public computers, for example, at a local library.

Q: Can I print my CE report?

A: Yes. Open the My Certification page. Select the red button “View Transcript.” In this window, click on the printer icon to print a copy of your CE summary report.

Q: Can anyone else view my ANFP records?

A: Other than the ANFP staff, you are the only person authorized to access your member records through the Web, and this is why registration is required. Of course, you should handle your user ID and password in a secure manner.

Q: Can I update my address, phone number, or e-mail through the ANFP website?

A: We’re glad you asked! Under the My Information page of your record, you can update your contact information. Simply click on the red “edit” button, enter your new contact information and then save it. You may also contact ANFP to request an update to your contact information by calling 800.323.1908, or submitting an email to info@ANFPonline.org. To ensure you receive communications from ANFP, be sure to keep all of your contact information up to date. ANFP and CBDM are not responsible for missed communications due to incorrect e-mail or mailing addresses in your record or for e-mail messages not retrieved from a spam folder. It is your responsibility to keep current all contact information in your record.

Q: What happens if I forget my user ID and password?

A: On the Sign In page, select "Forgot your password?" and follow the prompts or contact Professional Development Services (PDS) for assistance at 800.323.1908 or info@ANFPonline.org.
