I feel more confident in the role I play, be it as a Leader in my Facility or in our State Chapter. I feel we should always encourage others and lead by example.  By receiving this award, it has encouraged me even more to be a positive leader. It was a great honor to receive the Legacy Award.”

Paula Bradley, CDM CFPP
2016 Legacy Award Recipient

"The award(s) has been a blessing to us. It brought tons of free attention from magazines and newspapers marketing Palmetto Park's achievements and offerings. It has made job recruiting easier because we advertise our award winning department with job openings. The most rewarding part of the award(s) is the joy it gives our residents to brag that they have an award winning dining services department and director."

Joshua Watkins, CDM,CFPP
Palmetto Park Senior Living
2016 NFEF Foodservice  Department of the Year Award Recipient

“Receiving the CDM of the Year award brought attention to my role within my organization as well as our community.  It was such an honor and I am humbled by the fact that I was chosen for it.  The award represents my entire kitchen staff as well as the residents we care for.  Our residents were so proud when it was printed in the local newspaper and that is the best part of the whole thing.  I am proud to represent Oak Hills and my New Ulm, MN community.  MN ANFP has always been such a wonderful chapter and I have learned so much from my mentors within the organization, so appreciate that I can bring this award to our state.  Professionally, I believe the award has given me a goal to perform as ‘the CDM of the Year’ and improve all areas of our dining experience.  I have raised the standards of practice to continually improve myself and my team.”
