How will I know if the prospective member joined ANFP?
ANFP will send an e-mail to members who have successfully recruited a prospect.
When will I/our chapter be notified if I/we win a prize for most recruited members?
ANFP will contact winners within 7-10 business days after the close of the program on March 30th. Winners will also be promoted via other platforms such as the ANFP website, eNews, and at the upcoming ANFP Annual Conference & Expo (ACE).
Is there a limit to the number of members I can recruit?
There is no limit to the number of members you can recruit. The more you recruit, the better the odds are of receiving better prizes.
How do I recruit a new member?
There are a variety of ways you can recruit a member. You can have an in-person conversation, via e-mail or via phone. Review the available tools and resources to assist you in developing a personal message and conveying the value of joining ANFP, becoming a CDM, CFPP, and the difference it can make in elevating and improving their career path.
How does recruiting a member benefit me?
Not only will you get prizes and recognition for your contributions, but you will also:
- Assist in meeting the needs of the foodservice industry due to CMS regulations
- Help advance and elevate a friend, relative, or colleague's career and professional development
- Assist in the development of new individuals who can become volunteers and help carry the profession forward

How can chapters participate?
Chapters can participate by promoting the program, encouraging and motivating local members to get involved, developing local level incentives (awards & prizes), and highlighting the benefit and value of ANFP and the CDM, CFPP credential. Chapters can also make it a fun and competitive event with the goal of receiving $1,000 for the chapter.
How does recruiting members benefit my chapter?
In addition to possibly getting $1,000 for chapter business, it will help strengthen the profession as well as develop new volunteers for the chapter and new CDM, CFPPs.
