Virginia Chapter ANFP won the ANFP Diamond Award, this year. It is awarded to the one state chapter that most demonstrates chapter effectiveness and strength. This chapter stands as an outstanding example to other ANFP chapters, its members and outside organizations. Virginia also won the Achievement Award and the Newsletter Award.

It is the mission of this chapter to educate Food Service Professionals and encourage networking that will enhance the professionalism in their establishments while forming friendships and working relationships that will create an atmosphere of "Team Players".
As of July 15th, 2010 there are 320 ANFP members in the State of Virginia which we plan to increase in the future through our Membership Committee. The Virginia Chapter prides itself in being the recipient of the Achievement Award each year and for the professional development enhancement obtained through our semi-annual Statewide Conferences and our quarterly district meetings.
