I have been working in food service for 35 years now, most of it in heathcare. Currently working at Ross Manor in Bangor. I have been a CDM for the past 4 years. I've got culinary and managment training, from several schools. Taught culinary class at a local college. Although I have been doing management work for the most part the last few years, I still do enjoy getting into the kitchen to work with the crew on projects and catering functions. I look forward to working with and learning from all of the folks that make up the Maine ANFP, we have a fun group.

I enjoy working with the elderly very much.  The elderly are filled with stories and an abundance of life’s journeys, and love to tell their tales which I find to be very fascinating.

After having been out of school for many years I decided to move forward and pursue a career in food service management, it was a challenge to learn to study all over again and to find the time to take the course, but here, I am doing something that fulfills my life with challenges and new learning experiences daily.
