Dietary Services Manager
South Bend, Washington
Organizes and initiates overall supervision of dietary operation in all phases which will result in the preparation of safe, palatable appropriate foods served to all patients and personnel within budgeted allocations. Prepares food as required following Dietitian recommendations. Follows and implements state and federal guidelines and regulations. Prepares budget for department to include supplies, labor, etc. This position will manage the employees of the dietary department.
Must be a certified dietary manager or currently enrolled in a dietary manager program, or enrolled in an approved course within 90 days of employment. If not enrolled, employment may be terminated. Must have high school diploma or equivalent. Prefer 2+ years experience as dietary manager (or similar position) in health care setting. Prefer 4 yrs experience in health care setting. Must have current Food Handlers Permit for Washington State.
