Director of Nutritional Services

Summary:
The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Dietitian in planning, organizing, developing and directing all administrative and clinical aspects of the Nutritional Services Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing our facility ad as may be directed by the Administrator to ensure a high level of customer service and patient satisfaction, excellent work culture and cost effective management of all aspects of the service. Responsible for all food service-related activities; including patient care, non-patient care (retail, cafeteria, catering, etc.), quality improvement, sanitation, infection control and all facility-related activities.

Requirements:
Current accreditation as a Certified Dietary Manager or Dietitian -Three years of leadership and management experience in clinical dietetics and food service management in a healthcare setting -Strong written and oral communication skills -Ability to manage changing work environments -Proficient computer skills to include; various computer programs, Microsoft Office programs, e-mail and the Internet
