President’s Message
Hello Everyone,
I hope you have been enjoying your summer! It has gone by way too quickly! We had a good national conference in Texas this year and Illinois had a great turn out for it. We had around 10 of our members attend and that was great!
I can’t believe it is almost time for our annual fall meeting. The meeting is being held in Peoria at the Grand Hotel, as it was last year. The meeting will be held October 20 and 21. Remember that meeting days are now standardized so that you can mark your calendars in advance for the third week of October and April. I hope this helps many of you to plan ahead. With all of our busy schedules it is always nice to be able to plan for things in advance. This will also be our installation of officers, dietary manager of the year and administrator of the year celebrations.
Speaking of Dietary Manager and Administrator of the year, don’t forget to turn in applications to myself or Dave Williams soon! Honor your friend or co-worker, it is a great opportunity to show appreciation for othersJ
Also, speaking of the installation of officers, please be thinking about any way that you could possibly help the organization. We would really love to have more volunteers, so if you are even considering it but don’t know for sure just give one of us on the board a call or email and we can answer any questions you may have.
